Cyclades
The Cyclades (Greek: ΚυκλÎaδες) are a group of Greek islands found within the Aegean Sea, to the south and east of mainland Greece and Athens. The name Cyclades, means around (κυκλάς), the island of Delos which was thought to be sacred. The Cyclades comprise about 220 islands, the major ones being Amorgos, Ándros, Antiparos, Delos, Ios, Milos, Mykonos, Naxos, Paros, Sifnos, Saros, Tinos, and Santorini.
